Useless Information

There comes a time when you need to find an answer to a question, whether it is for work, for fun, or for that radio show call-in trivia contest. When you do, you can turn to he Internet and google or yahoo it. But they only cover the mainstream knowledge. What if you want some obscure, off-the-wall information that no one else could possibly know? Then, my friends, you turn to today's Warped Site.

The name of the site is Useless Information, and their subtitle is one of the best I have ever seen. It is "Stuff You Never Needed To Know, But Your Life Would Be Incomplete Without". Some pretty unusual things are displayed here. For example, how about the Olympics that gave gold medals for mud throwing, totem pole climbing, and spear throwing? Ever hear of an electric pickle? Or how many bricks are there in the Empire State Building?

There is so much information here that one could spend hours just reading it and saying "Huh, I didn't know that". I think that is what the Warp-o-Meter is doing since I don't have it's rating yet. But I give the site an 8.5 for just sheer variety and depth of what is here.
