July 15, 2006The Lettuce Preservation SocietyIt seems that every time you turn around these days, there is a new "Society for the Preservation of...." group, or "Let's Stop....." organization. I thought I has seen just about all of them, until I came across today's Warped site. The more I read about it, the more I came to believe in its cause. Read on and see if you agree with me. The site is The Lettuce Preservation Society. The creator of this site, in his travels around the Internet, realized the in order to be fulfilled in life, you needed to belong to an organization that seeks to preserve something. So he took matters into his own hand, and created a site that carries the torch for the truly downtrodden...the abused.....the neglected. It came to him over a Cesar's Salad. Here you will learn all of the details about the sordid conditions that these heads live under, and how you can help to preserve them. Protest at your local grocery store. Protest at restaurants to remove their salad bars. Confront Vegetarians about their eating habits. DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO SAVE THESE POOR UNDERPRIVILEGED DOWNTRODDEN HEADS! This site shows the true power of the Internet, and the mass of people that it can reach. Whether to inform, to protest, or to entertain (this site does all three), it is truly impacting our lives, and will continue to increase it's influence in the coming years. The Warped rating for this site is 7.0.
