The Chancery House

It is October, and one of the more warped holidays we celebrate happens this month. I mean Halloween, of course, that most unusual celebration of ghouls and goblins. So let's enter a haunted house and see just how warped the other side is. Follow me, if you dare!!

The name of the site is The Chancery House. When you first enter the main house (not the secret annex), you are greeted by Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn (no, not the ones you are thinking of). You are given a brief introduction by them, and they invite you to enter the main house. Once there, you can explore to your hearts content. There is a scavenger hunt, a history of the house, in all there are 23 rooms to explore, from the attic to the tower. If you get lost, there are spirits to help you, but they warn you not to get too lost, or you may never be found (like them).

This site has a certain charm about it. There is so much to do, you can spend hours here. The graphics are great, and have a photo realistic quality about them that adds to the atmosphere. This site has a strong 7.5 on my Warp-o-Meter, and the close it gets to Halloween, the higher that rating may go. After all, the could be haunted after a visit to the Chancery House.
