The Budget Traveler's Guide to Sleeping in Airports

Traveling via an airline can be an adventure. If you don't know what I mean, check the A&E Cable Television Network program "AirLine" and you'll see what I mean. In my previous job, I used to travel quite a bit, and occasionally, due to weather or plane connections, I would wind up spending the night in a hotel, and occasionaly, in an airport. I wish the Internet had been around then, and that I had known about this site. I would most likely have slept better.

The name of the site is The Budget Traveler's Guide to Sleeping in Airports, and as the title describes, it is about making the best of it when you find that your late evening flight won't be leaving till in the morning. This site is for travelers who are REALLY on a budget and are looking for a way to skim a few bucks off their travel expenses. It is their opinion that many airports are actually better than local lodging. And to top it off - they're free! Friends and family may look at you funny when you return with your airport stories, but that's only part of the fun. The site isn't limited to just US airports either, you'll find them from all over the world. There is a top 10 list of the best airports, and a top 10 list of the worst airports. Currently there are 4654 listings, and growing daily.

The next time you're planning a trip, be sure to check this site out. It may save you some time and aggravation in your travels. The Warped site rating for this site is an 8.5.
