Top Secret Toons

Ever since Gary Larson quit writing and drawing the Far Side, the state of comics has gone downhill. There have been many imitators but none have captured his spirit. Today's Warped site takes a look at one site that comes close to that mayhem that was Gary Larson, sort of.

The name of the site is Top Secret Toons. It is a collection of some pretty interesting humor cartoons that would look good on a daily calendar. They capture the essence of the Far Side, and has a touch of Doonsebury as well. What keeps this site down is the fact that two of the links don't work on it, the one about who the cartoonist is, and the one for the message board. Without those links working, it just isn't complete.

The Warped rating on this site is 5.0. It shows a lot of promise, but the broken links take two points away from it. But what is there is funny and worth a look.
