December 27, 2006Museum of HoaxesThere's an old saying that if it is too good to be true, it probably is. On the other hand, there's a sucker born every minute. Other wonder how much it costs if it's free, and as we all know, there is no free lunch. If you've heard or used any of these sayings, then today's site should interest you. And remember, free is a very good price. The name of the site is Museum of Hoaxes. It is a web site that is dedicated to situations and stories that may or may not be true. Some of them are quite entertaining, and some of them, like the Traveling Baby Jesus, have even made the national news. Some of them really make you think. A sampling of the stories you read here include: "Santa is an Illegal Immigrant?"; "The 40 Best Celebrity Rumors" (more than just Britney and Justin); "Pac-Man Hits the Road" (the latest in speed control devices); and, last but not least "Milli Vanilli" (P.T. Barnum wasn't the only saying one was born every minute). There are a lot of interesting things to see at this site, some of which are historic in nature, some of which will make you just roll your eyes. But whatever, it will be a cool Internet stop to make. Warped rating on this site is 8.0. http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/ Posted by rich at December 27, 2006 12:57 AM |
