Ink-Blot Test Wallpaper

Have you ever heard the joke about the man who went to see a psychiatrist, who, as part of his exam had him look at some ink-blot tests. The doctor showed him one, and the patient replied, "That is two people on a date, and you should see what they are doing". He shows him another one, and the patient replies that, "That is the same two people in the back of a car, and you should see what they are doing". The doctor shows him a third blot, and the patient replies, "Same two people on their honeymoon, and, wow, you should see what they are doing". The doctor is somewhat taken back by his replies, and tells him he obviously suffering from some sort of sexual fixation. The patient is outraged, "What do mean I've got a sexual fixation. You're the one with the dirty pictures".

With that groaner behind us, let's head on over to today's Warped site, where you can look at some ink-blots of your own.

The site is called Ink-Blot Test Wallpaper. The “Ink-blot Test”, also known as The “Rorschach Test” was originally invented by Hermann Rorschach. (1884-1922) as a psychology/personality test. A patient will look into a series of 10 inkblots and say what they see, their psychiatrist will then use what the patient sees in the inkblots as a reflection of the patient's fantasies, personality, and their current mental state.

The authors of this site would like visitors to look at these blots, and email them what visitors see in them. There is no right or wrong answer. What is seen is a reflection of the visitor's fantasies, personality and current mental state. So the more interesting a visitor is, the more interesting things that will be seen. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site an 8.5, but I think he's been looking at too many ink-blots.
