Ghosts of the Prairie

It's the Halloween season, and spooks are in the air. At least, they are on the Internet. Today's Warped site takes us to a place that would make the Addams Family feel at home; in other words "...it's creepy and it's kooky, mysterious and spooky..."

The site is called Ghosts of the Prairie, the Travel Guide to the History and Hauntings of Illinois and Beyond. There is a true spirit of Halloween here, including the Chicago Hauntings Black Ball and the Bump In The Night Tour Company.

There is quite a bit of paranormal material here, with information on books and movies. It takes some time to wander through all of the material, but the reviews and information contained makes it worth the time invested. Be sure to check out "Ghost Tech", the new haunted house field guide to paranormal investigation equipment. Do I hear Dr. Vinkman calling?

So if you are wanting to become an armchair Ghostbuster, or even thinking about getting out of the armchair, this site will help you get going. The Warp-o-Meter registers a 7.5 on this site, mostly because the ghosts here aren't all that warped.
