It has been said that if we are to avoid the mistakes of yesterday, then we need to learn from the mistakes of the past. But what if we knew what was going to happen in the future? Would we avoid events that would make those happenings happen? How would we know what is coming? Thanks to today's Warped site, we have an idea of some of the forthcoming happenings that are just around the corner. Are you ready to go back to the future?

The name of the site is Chronicle of the Future. Here you will get tomorrow's news today, before it happens. There is a mapped path to the future from the today through the year 2050. All you need to do is select the year, and then you will be whisked away to that years headlines. For example, in 2011, you will see how the magpie replaces the bulldog as England's national emblem. In 2035, the New Atlantis rises from the wave next to Japan, after a decade of building. Not enough for you? How about Madonna's new album in 2024, her first since 2019.

These events are truly all speculation, since they haven't happened yet. Or have they? Only time will tell when the dates roll around, and they have either happened or not. But waiting is half the fun, isn't it. On the 1 thru 10 rating scale, this site gets a 7.5.
