ER Headquarters

Sometimes televisions shows come and go and are never heard from again. Remember "Captain Nice"? I didn't think so. How about "The Banana Splits"? Getting closer? Well, some shows are just never heard from after they left the airwaves. But some, like the subject of today's Warped site, not only hang on during their primetime run, but live on in perpetual motion thanks to reruns and syndication. Such shows usually have a cult following that borders on fanatical. Witness this site.

The name of the site is ER Headquarters. It is a site that is dedicated to the television show "ER" which is now in it's 13th season. The show was created by Michael Crichton (of "Jurassic Park" and "Westworld" fame), and made it's debut in 1994, and became a favorite to viewers with it's unique camera shots, and ensemble cast who really seemed to meld as a unit, much like a real emergency room.

At this site, you can find out everything about this show, anything you want to know, and then some. There is a comprehensive episode guide of each season. The cast listing covers not only the current and past regular cast members, but also notable guest stars who were seen as patients, family members, hospital employees, and others. There is a special section for memorials to those characters who have died on the show, as well as spoilers, fan fiction, fan art, and other goodies.

This site is one that really captures the feeling of the program, and for anyone who is watching, has watched, or is thinking about watching it, it is a must bookmark site. The Warp-o-Meter gives it a 7.5 rating for being so fanatical that it's Warped.
