Bethlehem

Nothing funny or weird or unusual in the ol' Warped site tonight (or today, depending where you are). It is the day that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a very important Christian holiday, and political correctness notwithstanding, it is the most sacred of holidays around the world. Today we visit a site where it all began.

The site we are visiting today is called Bethlehm City of Jesus. Located five miles from the city of Jerusalem, this is the town where it all started. This is where, according to the Gospels of the New Testament, Jesus was born. This site explains the history, both in the past, and how it is today. The Church of the Nativity is the most Holy of shrines in the city - this is where the Christ child was born.

On this day of celebration, let us remember that we are all on the Earth together, that whatever our cultural differences we should respect each other for who we are, not what we want. That way we can truly fulfill the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr. and be judged not by the color of our skin but by the content of our character.

Have a very Merry Christmas!
