Knowing about your families past can be a fun and time consuming hobby. There are people who make a living doing just that - searching for ancestors. But doing it yourself can be rewarding and fun at the same time. Today we visit a site that talks about America's First Families. No, I don't mean the Kennedys or the Bushs. The site, appropriately called America's First Families, is an online genealogical society that honors the founders of our country that arrived here in the 1600s. You know, the Pilgrims, and all who followed after them. This excellent resource is well organized and easy to use. There are over 29,000 entries in their database, along with some excellent tools such as an origin of surnames and forenames. The links section is one that provides excellent supplements to the main site, making more resources available.
